Himachel Pradesh

Emily spent the past ten days conducting fieldwork in Solan District of Himachel Pradesh in the Himalayan foothills.  It was a beautiful area, and Em had her first taste of fieldwork in rural India.  In addition to the work, she had a chance to do a bit of hiking and exploring in Solan district!

Hyderabad

We spent a wonderful few days in Hyderabad in March for the PHFI Annual Research Symposium.  We loved the city - it was much quieter and cleaner than Delhi.  We visited a park, another old fort, and the parts of the old city.
