Pilanesberg

We spent our last weekend in South Africa enjoying the beautiful park of Pilanesberg, just two hours north of Johannesburg.

Geneva!

We had a wonderful weekend in April visiting our dear friend Maggie Montgomery in Geneva.  We ate delicious chocolate, walked through the Swiss Alps, and had a private tour of the World Health Organization!  This was topped only by the love and warmth of a dear friend.  The only thing missing was our dear Sigfrido, Maggie's husband, who was working in Cameroon.

Elias!

Our nephew Elias Mendenhall-Borus was born November 8th and we could not love him more!

West Coast National Park

We spent our final day exploring West Coast National Park.  It was beautiful and is one of the best places for migratory birds in all of South Africa.  But it was a little too cold for swimming!
